Woman who got engaged at Disneyland flashes her ring in her Space Mountain photo

Sonni Vargas has been a Disney fan her whole life. So, of course, the person she’s going to spend the rest of her life with, Jordan Williams, knew the perfect way to propose to his future bride. He incorporated Disneyland into their engagement story in the best way — by proposing in front of a Disney castle.

He shared photos from the picture-perfect engagement on social media:

“I’m engaged to my best friend, my lover, my soulmate and I couldn’t be any happier,” he wrote on Twitter.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Because Vargas wasn’t about to get engaged at Disneyland and not find a way to show off the ring in a unique, Disney-themed way. So naturally, she flashed her engagement ring on camera as her picture was getting snapped on Space Mountain. As one does.

She posted the photo to Twitter, and it has since gone viral, collecting 32,000 retweets and 155,000 likes as of the time of publication.

“I SAID YES!!! I can’t wait to marry my best friend,” she captioned the tweet.

People loved the way she showed off her engagement.

Twitter user @ginaalizete wrote, “The space mountain [photo] is GOALS.”

And even though it’s not cheap to go home with a souvenir Space Mountain photo, @noemidlt pointed out on Twitter that this one would be “worth every penny”:

Twitter user @mermaidvicky found this proposal so epic that they couldn’t help but point out that Vargas and her fiancée were “winning at life.”

And pretty much all Disney fans would agree!

Vargas also posted a close-up picture of her gorgeous ring, after getting requests from fans of their love story online:

She told “Good Morning America” that this proposal was a dream come true for her.

“I told my now-fiancé forever ago that it was my dream to get engaged in front of a Disney castle, and it is also my favorite place in the world,” Vargas said. “I’ve been a Disney fanatic my whole life. It is also my dream to get married there.”

The couple also told “Good Morning America” that they plan to incorporate Disney into their big day in some way. And we can’t wait to see the photos from that, too.

Congratulations to the couple! May they live happily ever after!
