Women cannot get enough of these handsome Florida cops

They say there’s nothing sexier than a man in a uniform, and if a recent Facebook post from first responders in Gainesville, Florida is any indication, that old adage holds true.

Officers Nordman, Hamill and Rengering were getting ready for a long night shift helping those in need in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The three officers from the Gainesville Police Department took a quick selfie and posted it on the department’s official Facebook page before heading out for the night. Here’s the post in question.

“Officers Nordman, Hamill and Rengering…part of the night crew getting ready to do some work. #Irma,” they simply captioned the photo.

The officers never could have guessed what happened next. Their post quickly went viral, and had people all over the country swooning over the hunky officers. It has now been shared over 230,000 times and has people going crazy for these three particular men in blue.

“I feel safer just looking at this picture,” declared one woman.

” …… just so we’re clear. When exactly does the night shift begin ? Asking for a friend,” queried another.

“I just ‘liked’ Gainesville Police department. I live in Utah…. 🔥,” read one comment.

“I’m going to dial 9-1-1 and see if the Magic Mike crew…I mean Gainesville PD will respond to my bachelorette party. It’s an emergency,” said another.

The Sarasota Police Department even got in on the action, sending “backup” for the post with a snap of their own sexy officers:

For their part, the officers were shocked, if not flattered, that their simple photo caused such a stir. The officers updated the post and clarified a few simple facts:

“1. We are dying with the comments. You’ve actually made our chief blush with some of them.

2. MRS. Nordman and MRS. Hamill have also enjoyed knowing how millions of women are going crazy over their husbands.

3. We can confirm that Officer Rengering (far right with the amazing hair) IS SINGLE.”

They went on to say that because of the overwhelming demand, they will be putting together a calendar featuring the handsome men of the Gainesville Police Department, with proceeds from sales going to Hurricane Irma recovery in Florida. We’re glad these guys were able to lend their good looks to a great cause!
