Fans of “The Wonder Years,” get excited! An upcoming Hallmark Channel Christmas movie will reunite some of the cast.

“Entertainment Tonight” broke the news that actress Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on the show from 1988 until 1993, and fellow show alum Dan Lauria will reunite for the Hallmark holiday film “Christmas at Grand Valley.”

You may remember Lauria played Jack Arnold, the gruff dad of Kevin Arnold, who was Cooper’s long-time love.

Lauria will play Frank Riley, father of Kelly Riley (played by McKellar) in “Christmas at Grand Valley,” which is one of 34 slated for the 2018 holiday season!

Fans of “The Wonder Years” couldn’t contain their excitement online, and neither could McKellar. She posted a lovely picture of herself and Lauria on Twitter and gushed over their first time working together in 25 years:

“Christmas at Grand Valley” debuts on Thursday, Nov. 22,  and tells the story of struggling artist Kelly Riley, who returns home to her hometown Grand Valley for Christmas. During her visit, she meets Leo (Brennan Elliott), a businessman and amazing dad to his children working to balance his time during the holidays.

When Leo is assigned to review a Grand Valley hotel, he sees it as the perfect opportunity for a family vacation. As Kelly re-visits her favorite hometown holiday traditions with Leo and his kids, she begins to find her love for art once again.

Lauria’s role in the film will be much different than than grouchy dad he portrayed in “The Wonder Years.” Frank Riley is known around Grand Valley as the “Mayor of Christmas” because of his love for all things holiday. He also runs the town’s beloved diner.

It’s almost like how “The Wonder Years” fans wish the series ended all those years ago: with the actors part of one big, happy family!

Are you excited to see two cast members of “The Wonder Years” reunite onscreen again?
