AAA Is Hiring For These Work-From-Home Jobs In 21 States—And Paying Up To $17 Per Hour

While AAA might be all about traveling and road safety, the company is looking to hire some travel agents who don’t actually have to travel — and that includes even going into the office.

AAA Club Alliance is hiring internet fulfillment travel agents to work with its New Jersey call center, but the job is remote, meaning you can work from home as long as you live anywhere in their “footprint,” which includes the following areas:

All or parts of New Jersey, Connecticut, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Kansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and California.

It is important to note that if hired, you will have to attend a training program lasting five to eight weeks in Hamilton, New Jersey, so if you won’t be able to travel there for a month or more, this might not be the right job for you.

After training, you’ll be making $16-$17 an hour — and there’s a monthly commission incentive plan. You’ll also receive about four weeks of paid time off, paid holidays plus benefits, like medical, dental and life insurance. Hours will likely be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the week, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will get one weekend day off and one weekday off.

To qualify for the job, you will need a high school diploma along with a general knowledge of effective sales techniques, and you must be able to work flexible hours. Graduating from an accredited travel school and experience as a travel agent is preferred, but not mandatory.

Does this sound like the gig for you? Just head on over to AAA’s website to apply. If you’d like to check out other jobs at AAA, they have more than 200 other postings, so you might be able to find something else that suits you better.
