You can now buy insulated champagne flutes with lids

If you don’t mind room temperature wine, taking it on the go to a picnic or outing isn’t much of a problem. When it comes to champagne, however, it’s pretty much never good unless it’s chilled. So, if you plan on celebrating anything away from an ice bucket, you’re going to need a way to keep it cold.

Luckily, some very ingenious people have come up with a solution — an insulated container shaped like a champagne flute! BrüMate’s triple-insulated, stainless steel container holds 12 ounces of liquid. It’s designed to keep drinks cold and carbonated for up to 20 times longer than just a normal glass.

A traditional champagne flute, by the way, holds between 4-10 ounces of liquid, so this container holds up to twice the amount of champagne. Here’s a photo of the flue with a person and champagne bottle for scale:

BrüMate says they launched the champagne flute with its drink-through, flip-top lid in July. Within 24 hours, it became the No. 2 seller in the champagne glasses category on Amazon. It currently stands at No. 7 in that category.

The flutes retail for $22.99 and are available in 30 colors like glitter, neon pink, seafoam and even mermaid.

BrüMate also makes insulated wine tumblers and wine canteens, which maintain the temperature of an entire 25-ounce bottle for more than 24 hours. They are not, however, the only such brand on the market.

If you’re looking for something a bit different, these Skylety double-insulated stemless flutes hold six ounces and come in a pack of two for $14.99. You can also get this four-pack by COMOO that says it keeps drinks cold for six to nine hours for $24.99 or this six-pack from Fungun for $32.99.

Since you can’t exactly drive to your destination with a glass of champagne in your cup holder, you might also want to invest in a freezable wine and champagne chiller bag like this one for $14.60 on Amazon. Designed to keep food and drinks cold for up to 10 hours, it doubles as an ice-free bucket until you pour your champagne into your portable flute.
