You Can Now Buy Ice Cream That Tastes Like Christmas Cookies, Just in Time For The Holidays

Along with all the fun the holidays bring, there are also tons of decisions to be made, like what presents you’ll buy, what you’ll wear and, of course, which Christmas cookies you’ll be making. In a perfect world, the answer to the latter is “all of them,” but unfortunately, we don’t live in a Hallmark Christmas movie and usually don’t have time to bake eight different cookies.

Luckily, Blue Bell ice cream has created an ice cream flavor that not only gives us that Christmas cookie taste we crave, but also delivers a whopping three different cookies, all in one ice cream.

The Christmas Cookies ice cream takes chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and sugar cookies and combines them in a sugar cookie ice cream. Complete with red sprinkles and a green icing swirl, dare I say it actually sounds better than cookies?

According to an Instagram post from Blue Bell, the ice cream is not new and is actually one of their most requested flavors. It is new for 2018, however, as it hasn’t been around since last year.

The flavor was so popular last year that it apparently sold out — in November. According to a Facebook response to a fan of the ice cream, Blue Bell wasn’t able to order more ingredients in time to get the flavor back in stores before Christmas.

That’s right, there was no Christmas cookie ice cream available for Christmas.

This year, however, Blue Bell is hopefully prepared to keep the flavor on store shelves all season. Just like last year, it will only be available for a limited time and only in certain areas of the country. If you’re lucky enough to live in a state that sells Blue Bell ice cream, you can find it in stores now, along with another seasonal flavor: peppermint bark.

In an Instagram post, Blue Bell described the peppermint bark flavor as “a smooth mint ice cream loaded with luscious dark chocolate chunks and tasty white chocolate chunks containing crushed peppermint candies.” Yum!
