You Can Now Have Your Wedding Photos Taken Under Water

Wedding season is almost upon us. Couples around the country are frantically planning their big days, endeavoring to please everyone in their families while still putting their own unique twist on their nuptials.

Well, here is a little inspiration for creating very unique photos. Photographer Adam Opris has been turning traditional wedding photography on its head by shooting newlyweds…under water! Yep. Sounds a little nuts, but the results are ethereal, breathtaking and absolutely one-of-a-kind. Not to mention, I bet the couple has a ton of fun during the shoot!

Check out some of the awesome shots:

Opris also does underwater maternity shots. How beautiful!

Opris is a true talent. He has been featured on “Inside Edition” and I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts shooting celebrities’ weddings in the near future.

Of course, you have to wonder…what the heck happens to those incredible gowns after the women get them soaking wet? Can they be dry-cleaned, or do they just have to be tossed? I don’t know, but with photos like this, you gotta figure it’s kind of worth it:

My other question is how do the women manage to look so graceful and beautiful as they float under water like that? I feel like I would be choking for air and flailing around like a jellyfish who had too many Fireball shots.

Opris also does some newborn shots (on land!), and this is one of my personal favorites:

Yep. We should all be so lucky as to have Opris taking our photos. Seriously, how does he do it? How does he manage to make kissing under water look effortless?

These stunning brides look as natural as mermaids under the water! Do these couples have a secret pair of gills or what?

Whatever the case, we love this awesome new wedding photo trend!
