You can soon buy Welch’s non-alcoholic sparkling mimosas

If you’re a brunch fan, chances are you’ve had a mimosa or two (or three or four … ). While they are the perfect accompaniment to a morning gathering with friends, drinking champagne that early in the day isn’t for everyone.

If you’ve always wanted to partake in the mimosa-drinking but without the bubbly, we have good news. Welch’s is releasing a non-alcoholic sparkling mimosa so non-drinkers and even children can join in on the brunch-time excitement. It’ll be available starting April 7.

Welch’s says the new Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Mimosa will feature a burst of citrus and a light, crisp taste with no added sugars. The 24.5-ounce bottle will be available exclusively at Target stores and Target.com for around $3.19 in early April, which means you’ll be able to grab some bottles in time for Mother’s Day. Expectant moms can drink it, too!

“Welch’s sparkling juices are a staple at celebrations and gatherings across the country,” John Walston, Welch’s senior brand manager, said in a press release. “Last year we saw great success launching Welch’s Non-Alcoholic Rosé, and we wanted to offer consumers a new occasion to enjoy our trendy bubbly refreshments; Mimosa opens the breakfast occasion for us as the perfect addition to any brunch spread.”

Prefer to brunch at home? If you’d like to try your hand at making your own non-alcoholic mimosa, this recipe from Kirbie’s Cravings uses just two ingredients — sparkling water in your choice of flavor and frozen fruit. You just blend the water and fruit and you’ve got yourself the perfect brunch treat!

If you’re looking for the classic orange juice flavor, try this recipe from Reluctant Entertainer instead. It uses orange juice, limeade or lemonade, Sprite, cocktail rimming sugar and tangerines for garnish.

Of course, no one is stopping you from adding champagne to Welch’s new drink, either. It could certainly work as a ready-made mimosa mix!
