You Need To Watch Dick Van Dyke Sing ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ At Denny’s

If today feels like a Monday (or you just need a smile), then you need to watch this. Dick Van Dyke, the 90-year-old legend, surprised Denny’s patrons at a Southern California location when he and his a cappella group, the Vantastix, broke into song. What was the tune? Why, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” of course.

Dick Van Dyke shared the link to his Facebook page with the caption, “Breakfast at Denny’s, with a side of grits makes me want to sing!”

Van Dyke played the inventor Caractacus Potts in the 1968 children’s movie “Chitty Chitty Bamg Bang.” It was co-written by beloved author Roald Dahl and based on a a story by James Bond-creator Ian Fleming.

Well, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (and Dick Van Dyke), we love you!
