You won’t be able to stop laughing at this video of Ina Garten and Seth Meyers day drinking

Late Show with Seth Meyers/YouTube

Well, this is a video you never knew you needed in your life. If you’re having a bad day or could just use an extra boost, this will surely cheer you up. Ina Garten, a.k.a. the Barefoot Contessa joined Seth Meyers on a segment of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” and these two make quite the pair!

They go day drinking in the 10-minute video clip and have an absolutely amazing time. While together, they compete in several friendly competitions. They make cocktails and battle to see whose is best. Meyers plays a guessing game to see if he can decipher which dipping sauce is Garten’s and which comes from a fast food chain. And Garten has to pick which celebrity chef said certain quotes. As you might have guessed, the game-like activities were only made better by drinking.

See the hilarity that ensues when Garten and Meyers get together over a few cocktails in this clip from the “Late Night with Seth Meyers” YouTube channel:

“Barefoot Contessa” fans probably weren’t surprised to learn that Garten really knows her stuff when it comes to making cocktails, picking which famous chefs said certain quotes and, yes, even pairing celebrity feet with the correct celebrity.

Given that Meyers lost the majority of the battles against Garten, he wound up drinking a lot more than she did, but that didn’t stop Garten from being adorably giggly (and likely buzzed!) the whole way through.

To wrap up a day of drinking, Meyers surprised Garten with a birthday cake to honor her special day. He even attempted to write “Happy Birthday, Ina” in icing to top it all off. And if that doesn’t prove that these two are the best drinking buddies anyone could ever have — I don’t know what does!

We may not all be able to drink with Garten, but thanks to her cocktail recipes, we can all drink like Garten! So, if that’s what you’re hoping to do, you should check out her recipe for a very fancy champagne cocktail, the Raspberry Royale.

The drink calls for good champagne, fresh raspberries and raspberry liqueur.

Or, you can keep it classic and mix up what Garten told Meyers is her favorite cocktail, a whiskey sour. Her own recipe calls for Jack Daniel’s whiskey, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice and sugar. Top it all off with a maraschino cherry and enjoy!

Drinking with the Barefoot Contessa is likely now on your bucket list — but until you get to check that item off, at least there are Garten cocktail recipes to get you through.

Cheers to drinking Barefoot Contessa-style from here on out!
