Your kids can talk to their favorite My Little Pony on the phone
The busiest time of the year for Santa Claus is here — and I’m not talking about Christmas Eve. Not only does he have to deliver toys to all the good boys and girls in one night, but he also has to read millions of letters. Thanks to advances in technology, even he has to check his voicemail (he’s too busy to answer, obviously!) because kids can now give him a call.
If you feel for Santa and his insane workload this month, My Little Pony is offering up a different kind of hotline that should help ease some of the congestion at the North Pole. While your kids won’t be able to pass along their Christmas list, they can ring up their favorite My Little Pony to hear a special holiday message.
According to an Instagram post from “My Little Pony,” the Best Gift Ever hotline is toll-free. Kids can choose to hear from one (or all!) of the Mane Six ponies by calling 833-249-0483 now through Dec. 31. Of course, you should probably dial the number for them so that they’re not accidentally making any prank calls or getting disappointed if they don’t reach the pony hotline.
Once you’ve reached Princess Celestia, Ruler of Equestria, your child can press a number between one and six to hear from the pony they like best:
- 1- Twilight Sparkle
- 2 – Rarity
- 3 – Applejack
- 4 – Fluttershy
- 5 – Rainbow Dash
- 6 – Pinkie Pie

While I don’t have kids myself, I called the hotline anyway because I am committed to my work and this story. (Yeah, that’s definitely the only reason.) I chose Rainbow Dash — and then a few others — and can confirm the recorded messages are pretty adorable and are about what they want for the holidays. Each one is pretty short, but all are sure to put a smile on your little one’s face.
The hotline appears to be tied into Netflix’s “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Best Gift Ever” special, where the ponies participate in a gift exchange. You can also find a “Best Gift Ever” celebration set on Amazon that comes with figurines of the Mane Six for $24.67.
Will you and your child call the “My Little Pony” hotline this holiday season?
