If You’re Going To Try Pastel Hair, Smoky Lilac Is For You
No longer just a fad among the super-trendy, chances are we all know someone who’s been experimenting with pastel-colored hair. While it seems fun and all, actually taking the leap and wearing it around in public is one of those things that’s easier said than done.
But, if you’re looking for a way to subtly pastel-ize (yes, that’s a word) your look, this really is the way to go.
Not only is the smoky lilac or lavender color super subtle, it also looks great on all skin tones and hair colors. So, whether you’re working with a blonde base or something darker, this ‘do could work for you.
Because this lilac color is also mixed with a gray, silver-y hue, it’s not over-powering. Plus, it’s easy to customize to your liking. Want a touch more lilac than gray (or the other way around)? Either way works just fine and looks great to boot!

According to Popsugar, you have celeb colorist Guy Tang to thank for this colorful creation. He teamed up with Kenra Professionals to create a line of hair dye called the Metallics. This one, specifically, is called Violet Metallic. At least now, you know what to ask for at the salon!
Take a look at all of the goodness this latest hair trend has to offer:
I think I’m in love.
It’s just pastel enough, just subtle enough.
