11 Cute And Frighteningly Healthy Halloween Treats

Halloween is a time for tricks, treats and candy galore! Unfortunately, all those treats and candy are not the healthiest option. For your next Halloween party, try making one of these deliciously healthy and adorable snacks. We’ve found 11 recipes that are sure to impress even the biggest sweet-tooth this season!

1. Halloween Sweet Potato Fries

Fries come in all shapes and sizes (and we do not discriminate), but have you ever seen pumpkin shaped fries? Cheeky Kitchen created this fun and delicious recipe using sweet potatoes and a pumpkin cookie cutter. For some reason, fries taste even better in the shape of a pumpkin! Better Homes and Gardens suggests sprinkling them with a little taco seasoning for a more savory route.

2. Grapefruit Jack-O’-Lanterns with Fall Fruit Salad

Make fruit salad fun by using a grapefruit Jack-o’-lanterns as the bowl! Say Yes’s recipe for these adorable DIY pumpkins is the perfect treat for breakfast. Personalize your Jack-o’-lantern by adding in your favorite fruits for the stuffing.

3. Monster Apple Bites

The monster apple bites from Fork and Beans are packed with flavor. Not only are they hilarious and adorable, but they are also a healthy snack that everyone will love! Peanut butter and apples are always a safe bet for a delicious treat. If there are any nut allergy concerns, Fork and Beans suggests using sunflower butter in lieu of peanut butter.

Mummy toast … yummy toast, both are accurate descriptions for this recipe form Spaceships and Laser Beams.  This recipe is extremely easy to make, and the kids will love to join in on the fun! All you need is bread, tomato sauce, cheese slices and olives for the eyes.
