This 11-Year-Old Landed An $11 Million Contract With Whole Foods

TRACE

Mikaila Ulmer is just 11 years old but has already accomplished more than many of us will in a lifetime. Her lemonade, BeeSweet, will be carried in 55 Whole Foods stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and her home state of Texas thanks to a recent deal—which has an $11 million contract attached to it!

Her recipe was passed down from her great grandmother and includes flaxseed, honey, mint and, of course, lemons. Perhaps the sweetest part about her lemonade? She donates 20 percent of the proceeds to help support the declining bee population.

But her fame and fortune didn’t just happen overnight. Ulmer first appeared on Shark Tank in March of 2015 and was funded $60,000 by entrepreneur, Daymond John.

My hat goes off to this little lady—well done!
