Girl Scout Cookie season is one of my favorite times of year. Whenever I start seeing those cute girls in green sashes around the neighborhood, I can hardly wait for the deliciousness that will soon be at my front door.
But here’s a game-changer: You no longer have to wait with bated breath for Girl Scouts to ring your front door! Yep, if you are in the mood for Samoas (or Caramel DeLites, if that’s what you call them), you can find them anytime of day. And with free shipping!
Where? Well, on Amazon, of course!
Yep, there goes swimsuit season. With Thin Mints and Tagalongs in demand, it’s going to be hard to hold back on a all-out cookie binge. But, hey, at least it’s for a good cause!
However, I will warn you: There is a bit of a downside. While Girl Scout cookies have slightly increased in price lately, they will generally cost you $4 a box. Which is pretty much on par with say, a box of Chips Ahoy or Oreos.
But! If your eager self can’t wait to buy Girl Scout cookies in person (which is understandable), then your love of Thin Mints will really cost you. On Amazon, the price jumps up to nearly $10 a box. Ouch! Considering a sleeve of Girl Scout cookies can disappear in 5 minutes, that’s a costly indulgence.
If you don’t want to blow your whole paycheck on these pricey treats, you can always try to make a copycat recipe of your favorite Girl Scout cookie at home. It requires a bit more work, of course, but it will definitely be more cost-effective.
Or, you can simply just be sure to stock up on lots of boxes the next time you see Girl Scouts in person. Don’t worry about spoiling, they freeze great!
