Disney Releases First Look At The New ‘Star Wars’ Attraction

Disney

This is huge! Disneyland has confirmed that it has started construction on the Star Wars theme park, and has released an awesome 360 video of the progress.

Last August, it was announced that Disney and Lucasfilm were partnering together to create an out-of-this-world attraction. Here’s some screen captures of the video above.

According to the press release, “Guests will be able to step aboard The Millennium Falcon and actually pilot the fastest ship in the galaxy, steering the vessel through space, firing the laser cannons, in complete control of the experience.”

While I imagine it’s taken a little movie magic to make this 360 video, I can’t wait to see what the theme park looks like when it’s finished.

At 14 acres, it will be a monumental attraction.  Can you tell where it will be located? Yes, you can see the back of Frontier Land in some of the 360 video. If you happen to be traveling to the park in the next few years, you may be able to catch a glimpse of all the action!
