This Hallmark Christmas movie drinking game is hilarious

There is nothing I love more this time of year than curling up on my couch with a classic Hallmark Christmas movie.

And now, with two Hallmark channels dedicated to Christmas movies, I can watch them 24 hours a day, if I choose. (I might even be watching one right now — in the name of research, of course.)

I unabashedly love the cheesiness of these holiday flicks. The big-city-gal-meets-small-town-hunk-under-the-mistletoe plot lines give me all the Christmas feels.

I love that the main characters are always named something like Holly and Nick, and I crave the comforting predictability of it all.

Now, thanks to Brittany Graves, a genius from Fort Worth, Texas, my Hallmark movie-watching experience — and yours — is about to get a whole lot more fun.

“We invented a drinking game that works with any of them!” she posted. “My husband actually watches with me now.”

I have to say this game would make my own cheesy-Christmas-movie-cynic hubby a believer, too.

Brittany and her husband have created hilarious “take a drink” challenges like, “big city person transplanted in a small town” and “magic deal with Santa or angel.”

My favorite rule in the game might be the bonus: “Take a shot if the movie stars Candace Cameron Buré or Lacey Chabert.”

It’s practically guaranteed each one will include a “snowball fight or ice skating” scene and more than a few “jingle bells” and “near-miss kisses,” so prepare to drink a lot of booze — and often.
