Eat Like A Hufflepuff With These Awesome Hogwarts House Dinner Plates

ThinkGeek

There’s no limit to just how far “Harry Potter” fans will go to show their love for the series—and that includes show that love at the dinner table!

Luckily for Potterheads and their dining companions, ThinkGeek just released a dining set that features all four of the Hogwarts Houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.

The 16-piece set, which retails for $99.99, has a place setting for each House, including a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and 12-ounce cup.

While the price tag might seem a little hefty, ThinkGeek argues on their site that “dinnerware is an investment and says a lot about what you are.” We can totally see these dishes being perfect for a Harry Potter-themed party, or just a way to eat your everyday grub while immersed in your favorite magical franchise.

ThinkGeek says that the plates are the perfect way for a true Harry Potter devotee to express their allegiance:

“Might we suggest expressing how much of a Harry Potter fan you are? This set of 4 place settings—dinner plates + salad plates + bowls + cups—includes one place setting for each house—Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. And you know what that means? Everybody gets to dinner on time in order to secure their proper House. No more, ‘Just five more minutes!’ And imagine when you have friends over. As a host, it’s appropriate for you to let your guest select his or her preferred House. Unless you’re Slytherin. And then all bets are off.”

The pieces are all ceramic and are not dishwasher- or microwave-safe, so make sure you show them some TLC! The cups, dinner plates and salad plates all feature an illustration for each House. The dinner plates, salad plates and bowls are edged by an intro from the Sorting Hat and the couplet for each House.

All good on your dinnerware?

There’s always this Harry Potter Sorting Hat bath bomb.

Or perhaps you need a “Harry Potter” coffee mug?

Or this slightly spooky-looking bathrobe with a “Harry Potter” theme?

There’s perhaps no Harry Potter gear cooler than this Harry Potter Ambient Light, is there? It sells on Etsy for $55.

A Polyjuice Potion flask is also kind of a must-have for any Potter fan (of drinking age, of course!). Get this one on Etsy for $20.

So, get ready to add a wizard-y feel to basically everything you own—but, before you shop around too much, you may want to see which house you belong to first. Use the Sorting Hat bath bomb or this Sorting Hat candle. You’d hate to purchase Hufflepuff gear if you actually belong to Gryffindor, after all.
