For example, did you know that you can make dinner rolls in a slow cooker? When you’re preparing a big meal with many dishes, such as on Thanksgiving, dinner rolls may be an afterthought. However, if you ask me, the feast is just not complete without them. Making them in the slow cooker is a great way to set it and forget it, ensuring you have this unsung but essential hero at the dinner table ready and waiting when it’s time to eat.
Check out this super-simple recipe for slow cooker dinner rolls from Living Sweet Moments, which comes together with a number of staple items that you likely already have in your pantry, such as flour, sugar and salt. These rolls do not require any proofing time, which is often required when making your own rolls from scratch and baking them in the oven. Once you make the dough, all you have to do is cut it into rolls, and pop them in the slow cooker.

As soon as the rolls are ready, Living Sweet Moments recommends topping them with some melted butter and broiling for a couple of minutes for a perfectly golden and crispy top. Genius!
