Meghan Markle Marked Her One-Month Wedding Anniversary With Another White Givenchy Dress
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, seem to be settling in to their new royal lifestyle as husband and wife quite nicely. They officially hit the one-month mark as husband and wife on June 19, and in honor of the milestone, Markle donned yet another gorgeous white Givenchy dress.
She and Prince Harry were attending the Royal Ascot horse-racing event when she stepped out in the classic white button-down dress. The collared dress was simple, but had subtle embellishments such as a unique hem and floral detailing around the waist.
Take a look at the chic royal ensemble:
The look was completed with a hat, of course, which was black and white to match the dress and Markle’s accessories — a black belt, shoes and clutch.
Just one month into marriage, Markle has already attended a wedding alongside her husband, announced a tour she and Prince Harry will take together and had a solo outing with the Queen. So it’s safe to say this has been a whirlwind for the American adjusting to royal ways, but Markle has completed each task with elegance and grace — not that we expected anything less.
Givenchy has proven to be a trusted label for the Duchess, making each and every appearance more stylish than the last. She also sported a Givenchy cape dress when she visited northern England with the Queen:
According to an official royal press release, Markle originally chose to work with the artistic director behind Givenchy, Claire Waight Keller, because of “her timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanor.”

And since Keller delivered a stunning wedding gown, Markle keeps returning to the designer, trusting her to interpret her personal style.
It doesn’t hurt that the pair also developed a great relationship while working together on the royal wedding dress, and Keller really grew to understand Markle’s needs.
“[Meghan] was really focused, as I was, on it being absolutely perfect for the occasion. And also knowing what the House of Givenchy has done in its history, I think it was a collaboration that came through that,” Keller told Harper’s Bazaar. “Over time we got to a point where I [knew] she knew exactly what she wanted, having tried some of the toiles and mock-ups that I had shown her.”
And the rest was history!
It’s no surprise that Markle continues to return to a designer who knows her so well. Now, all that’s left to do is wait to see what stunning Givenchy creation she’ll wear next.
