It’s hard to believe that Oreo used to come in just one flavor. The classic chocolate and creme sandwich cookies are snack perfection, but in recent years, Oreo has proved that there is no flavor that this little cookie can’t handle. From Maple Creme and Carrot Cake to Hot Cocoa Oreo and Peeps Oreos, each year Oreo has pushed the envelope when it comes to new flavor combinations.

And 2020 won’t be any different. Starting in January, you can find two new Oreo flavors on your shelves: Chocolate Marshmallow and Caramel Coconut. How delicious do those new flavors sound?

Oreo released the news on their Instagram page, and it sparked a lot of excitement from eager Oreo lovers (a.k.a. anyone with working tastebuds), if the comments section is any indication.

While you have to wait a couple of months to get your hands on these new flavors, the good news is that we will soon find out what the Oreo Mystery flavor is. Oreo released their Mystery flavor in September, giving customers a chance to buy a package of the Mystery Oreo flavor, enjoy a cookie (or several), then guess what the mystery flavor might be. By going online and entering the guess on the Oreo website, Oreo lovers were given a chance to win $50,000.

People have a lot of great guesses, including churro or funnel cake or even cannoli, but only Oreo has the official answer … and the name of the lucky winner(s)!

Keep your eyes peeled for other special Oreo flavors, including Peppermint Bark Oreos, which are relaunching for the holidays. Other fun flavors you may be able to find at local stores now include Dark Chocolate Oreos, S’mores Oreos and Birthday Cake Oreos.

And don’t forget to incorporate Oreos into your holiday cookie trays! This awesome recipe for Holiday Oreo Cookie balls from Valerie’s Kitchen requires no baking and just a handful of ingredients, including Oreo cookies, chocolate chips and cream cheese. A food processor does most of the work. There won’t be any mystery when these Holiday Oreo Balls disappear from your party platter!

You can also try making these Oreo cheesecake cookies from the blog Cookies and Cups, or Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies from Picky Palate (wow!). These home kitchen creations will definitely impress your holiday guests.

Are you excited about these new flavors? We can’t wait for 2020.
