Do you want your dining room to look like Hogwarts’ Great Hall? Then check out Target’s new line of Harry Potter-themed dinnerware.
These dinnerware sets are for grown-up Muggles who want their dinnerware to be magical but still elegant. The officially-licensed porcelain place settings prove you’re never too old to be a Hogwarts groupie.
First, there’s the Marauder’s Map place setting, which features golden designs of the infamous map. The plates give a nod to the Animagus forms of characters James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew and Remus Lupin, who of course were the original creators of the Marauder’s Map. One four-piece place setting — which includes a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and mug — costs $39.99.
The listing calls this a “fine porcelain placing set.” These shouldn’t go in the microwave or dishwasher — they’re hand-wash only.
Members of Ravenclaw and Gryffindor can further rep their house pride with a 16-piece dinnerware set that includes salad plates, dinner plates, bowls and mugs. The porcelain place settings feature the house colors and symbol. A 16-piece place setting costs $89.99, and this set is also made of porcelain that’s dishwasher and microwave friendly.
There is also a posh gray-and-white serving platter that features a silhouette of Hogwarts. At $29.99, it’s a must for the Harry Potter fan in your life who also loves hosting parties.
Complete your table setting with these Death Eater placemats featuring the dark mark of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and his followers. These 100% cotton placemats are 8-by-14 and will help you unleash a little dark magic at mealtime. A four-piece set is $25.77.
The Harry Potter-themed place settings and tableware only sold online, not in stores.
