Watch Dick Van Dyke Relive Bert And Dance To ‘Step In Time’ In Mary Poppins Tribute

ABC

At 90 years old, Dick Van Dyke has still got the moves. On Sunday, February 21st, Disney revisited some of its most iconic films in its “Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” show.

What was so magical is that Derek Hough (Dancing with the Stars) played Dyke’s character, Bert, for the song. And at 1:16 in the video, Hough opens a set of doors on the stage to reveal the one and only, Dick Van Dyke.

Dyke promptly hops onto stage and performs part of the dance sequence just as he did over 50 years ago when the film was first released in 1964.

As you can imagine, the crowd went wild at Dyke’s surprise appearance.
