Don’t get me wrong, dieting and exercise are still important parts of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but why feel like you’re starving yourself on a diet when you could just eat foods that will actually help burn fat? It’s about working smarter, not harder, you know what I mean?

According to Women’s Health, certain vitamins and nutrients can help your body burn more calories, allowing you to get rid of fat instead of storing it.

So, if you’re all about helping your body work to burn calories at a faster rate through the foods you’re eating, go on and stock up on these items.

1. Whole Grains

According to Health.com, your body works harder to digest foods that are high in fiber, and therefore burns twice as many calories.
