Ben Affleck’s daughter looks just like him

Aren’t genes incredible? Many celebrity children bear a striking resemblance to their famous parents. And recent photos of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s kids show that physical heredity shows up strongly in the Affleck-Garner clan.

Violet, 13, their oldest, seems like Garner’s mini me. But middle child Seraphina, 10, definitely favors Affleck in her features.

She’s got her dad’s nose and his brown eyes. You can see the resemblance in the photo below, taken at Garner’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony this past August. Seraphina’s the one in the cloud-blue dress.

Seraphina even has Affleck’s crooked half-smile down. it gives them both a certain knowing expression.

Besides their daughters, Affleck and Garner also have a 7-year-old son, Samuel, (sitting to the right of Seraphina below). He seems to be a fair blend of his parents.

And here’s a clip of Affleck as a child actor on the kids’ TV show “The Voyage of the Mimi,” which was revisited by Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.” Ben was a bit blonder as a child, much like his son is today.

Garner has been very public about her dislike of the paparazzi harassing her children, so official images of her kids are rare.

She touched upon the topic recently during a recent interview with “Camping” co-star David Tennant on his podcast (she begins talking about her children at around the 34-minute mark).

“They’re little,” she said of her kids’ hounding by the paparazzi. “It goes into their mind. It’s scary!”

But if there’s one thing the pictures prove, it’s that Garner is a very dedicated mom. Just take a look at her as a troop leader selling Girl Scout cookies in this Instagram snap.

While Garner and Affleck are now divorced, they continue to closely co-parent their three kids.

“I hope I’m a pretty good dad,” Affleck told Today. “I certainly try very hard. I’m lucky they got a great mom and she helps out a great deal with making sure we co-parent in as good a way as possible.”

Garner is also complimentary towards the father of her children, to whom she was married for 10 years. “I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,” she told Vanity Fair in 2016. “And I would go back and remake that decision … You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had [otherwise]. He’s the love of my life.”
