A Boy Born Without Arms And Legs Proves Anything Is Possible

YouTube

Gabe Adams, now 17, was born in Brazil without arms and legs. Shortly after, he was adopted by a family from Utah who have since been giving Gabe what he calls “tough love” by making him do things all on his own.

His parents are hoping for him to be able to have the same sense of independence as everyone else, and what he’s been able to overcome is nothing short of extraordinary.

Not only can he fix himself breakfast, but he can also do things some would think to be impossible given his circumstances such as write all by himself, jump on a trampoline and even swim.

“It’s always been our goal to allow Gabe freedom,” Gabe’s father, Ron Adams told a local news station. And it seems as though they’ve really done a good job of raising him to be able to do things all by himself.

Gabe told the news station when he was interviewed that if there was one thing he’d want people to know about him it’s that “[He] can do it, and [he] can do it with a smile on his face.” Why the smile? “’Cause a smile will help everything,” he said.

You can see that Gabe has even joined his school dance squad, and everyone agrees, he’s the star of the team.

So, if you needed a little motivation or inspiration, you just got it. Because Gabe is truly proving that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
