Make a cookie wreath with Keebler’s new decorating kit

Ferrara

Building a gingerbread house is a fun and memorable way to enjoy the holidays. But, if they tend to be too messy, time-consuming or frustrating for you, Ferrara has a new, simpler treat you can make with the kids in your life this season.

Keebler’s new Make-a-Wreath Cookie Decorating Kit comes with pre-made cookies, green frosting and an assortment of candy so you can make holiday wreaths — no baking required! The cookies included in the kit are Keebler “bare” Fudge Stripe cookies: there are no signature stripes on top, but they still have fudge on the bottom.

Candy that comes with the kit includes Frosty Nerds in red, white and green holiday colors, Chewy Lemonhead Redrific and Sprees, so you can make every wreath look different. A Ferrara representative tells Simplemost the kits are available at Walgreens and select other retailers now for around $4.99. One kit makes four cookies.

Ferrara is launching other new holiday products as well, including some candy, like SweeTarts Twisted Holiday Punch Ropes, Nerds Tangy Candy Canes and Giant Brach’s Candy Canes.

You’ll also find
Mother’s Reindeer Games Circus Animal Cookies, The Elf on the Shelf Fruit Snacks and Keebler Fudge Stripes Mini Wreaths, which are just like normal Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies, but with green fudge.

If you’re looking for more holiday fun you can make yourself, however, Brach’s also has Crushed Candy Canes for cookies and cupcakes. Plus, Nestlé Toll House just re-released peppermint-filled truffles, holiday chocolate chip cookie dough and M&M’s Minis holiday cookie dough.

Pillsbury is also beginning to release some seasonal goodies, including their Funfetti Winter collection. This includes Funfetti Winter Vanilla Cake and Cupcake Mix and Funfetti Winter Frosting, which includes white snowflake-shaped sprinkles.

You could also try your hand at making your own cookies from scratch, like these adorable sugar cookie Christmas trees that are actually pretty easy to make.

For something fun to do with kids, you could also just roll out some sugar cookie dough from any recipe, use cookie cutters to make holiday shapes and frost them with whatever colors and decorations you prefer.
