Milano released 2 new cookie flavors just in time for the holidays

The holidays can be overwhelming for many reasons, especially when it comes to all the festive drinks and food that are suddenly available for the season. If holiday parties with sweets and cocktails weren’t enough, nearly every aisle of the grocery store has some new holiday treat. (Looking at you, cinnamon Kit-Kats.)

Not that I’m complaining, but if you’d rather not eat everything, it takes some serious willpower to decide which seasonal treats you’ll be trying. If your favorite things about the holidays are drinks and dessert, however, there are two new items that belong in your grocery cart.

Say hello to Milano’s newest cookie flavors: Caramel Macchiato and Irish Cream! The two new cookies are here just in time for the holiday season and they can be found exclusively at Target stores nationwide. A 7-ounce bag costs around $3.89.

If you’ve never had a Milano cookie, the original is simply a layer of chocolate between two crisp, delicate cookies. These drink-inspired flavors, however, combine the rich chocolate with the flavors of either caramel macchiato or Irish cream.

If you prefer more classic holiday flavors, you can also buy Milanos flavored with pumpkin spice, peppermint, cinnamon chocolate and candy cane. There is even a toasted marshmallow flavor if you’d still like to hold on to summer a bit longer!

Personally, I can only think of one thing that could make the new cookies flavors even better — serving them with the drinks that inspired them!

This shouldn’t be difficult because Starbucks recently launched a line of flavored coffee creamers in stores nationwide, and caramel macchiato is one of them. All you have to do is add it to your coffee and you have the perfect drink to enjoy with the caramel macchiato cookies.

If Irish cream is your favorite instead, you might want to whip up a batch of this copycat Baileys Irish Cream that tastes just like the real thing. All you need are a few ingredients like heavy cream, instant coffee and Irish whiskey and you’ll have the perfect drink to serve with your cookies!
