People are loving Disney World’s new ‘Moana’-inspired coconut float topped with a chocolate cake pop
The Christmas season brought some new sweet treats to Walt Disney World, including the Kakamora Float, which debuted in December at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The “Moana“-themed dish features rich, creamy coconut soft-serve, pineapple juice, blue Curacao syrup and an adorable chocolate cake pop that looks like a Kakamora, which were the coconut pirates from the movie.
Now, the tropical treat is being served all day at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom. The fun twist on a classic Dole Whip sells for $6.99. According to the Disney Food Blog, this special dessert will probably only be available for a limited time, so make sure to snag one while you can.

“The Kakamora Float at the Magic Kingdom was a Christmas party treat that seems to be sticking around, and I couldn’t be happier,” reads the post. “The combination of coconut and pineapple just is amazing, but the chocolate Kakamore cake pop is the best part.”
Instagram user @tampabay_mom thought it looked so good they had to buy two:
Disney Food Blog agreed that the treat is delicious, and their full review said they wouldn’t mind eating an entire Kakamora cake. They called the float “fruity and refreshing,” and said it can be enjoyed year-round.
This Kakamora Float is not the only variation on the beloved Dole Whip to be introduced at Walt Disney World. In March 2019, Dole Whip Froscatos became available for a limited time at The Basket, the counter service part of Wine Bar George inside Disney Springs. This boozy concoction featured pineapple Dole Whip along with vodka and Moscato wine.
Instagrammer @fzngwizbee tried it out and called the drink “fabulous” in a post:
In 2018, Dole Whip Doughnuts were introduced at Disneyland. This delectable pastry features pineapple-flavored filling, pineapple-flavored icing and toasted marshmallow meringue on top.
