Rainbow Christmas trees are one of the hottest holiday trends this year

It might be hard to hear, but there are fewer than 90 days remaining until Christmas, and less than two months until Thanksgiving. If you haven’t given any thought to your holiday decorating plans for your home, perhaps this buzzworthy theme will get you in the mood.

Every season seems to have its trendy tree design. For instance, 2018 was all about the black tree, while the year before saw pines in stunning solid shades. Not to be outdone, this year’s style setters say that rainbow trees are hot.

If you scroll through Instagram or browse retailers that are already displaying their holiday wares, you might see any number of rainbow-styled trees. Some are white or green faux firs bedecked with ornaments to create a rainbow pattern, such as this one posted by @mostlychristmascontent … in August:

And Instagrammer @just_teeny noted in her post that she was not at all sorry for posting a Christmas tree photo of this tree decorated in a rainbow of ornaments in September:

As you can see, it’s easy to decorate any tree in a rainbow theme. However, if you plan to purchase a rainbow holiday tree, most options feature brightly colored branches in a few different designs and styles.

You might find a tree that suits you anywhere from Target to Neiman Marcus to Amazon, but here are a few colorful trees for you to consider, from tiny decorations to full-size, rainbow-striped branches.
