Reese’s Puffs are getting a bunny-shaped makeover for spring
After your kiddos dig into their baskets full of candies and colored eggs, breakfast is next on the list for Easter morning. And while a giant Easter brunch is amazing, a quick breakfast poured into a cereal bowl is much easier.
Back in time for Easter once again, Reese’s Puffs Bunnies cereal is just like the original Reese’s Puffs cereal but shaped into cute little bunnies for the spring season. Made with real peanut butter and cocoa, some bunnies are peanut butter-flavored while others are chocolate, so a spoonful will deliver both tastes.
The limited-edition cereal will hit store shelves this month and it’ll stick around at least through Easter. You’ll find a mid-size box for around $2.50 or a family-size box for $3.99.
This year, Kellogg’s is making a Peeps-flavored cereal if you want something extra-sweet to start your morning. Made with crunchy O’s in classic Peeps colors and bunny-shaped marshmallows, you can find the Peeps cereal on store shelves nationwide, including at Walmart where a family size box is $3.64.
Of course, if you do find yourself with some more time on Easter morning, try cooking up some Funfetti pancakes with spring-colored sprinkles or bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls!
And if you still haven’t figured out how to fill up those Easter baskets, we can help there too.
Reese’s has put a new spin on the classic Reese’s Egg by filling it with Reese’s pieces! Reese’s also has a new chocolate bunny filled with peanut butter and Kit Kat has released a lemon crisp flavor that’s perfect for spring.
If that’s not enough, Russell Stover is also making sour fudge bunnies this year in cherry, blue raspberry and watermelon flavors (yes, sour chocolate!), Welch’s fruit snacks now come in Easter egg shapes and Target is selling soda pop-flavored Starburst jelly beans.
You’ll also find raspberry-flavored Peeps and Peeps jelly beans back on store shelves.
