Target: Extra 10% Off In-Store Purchases for REDcard Holders

Target REDcard holders, are you ready to save big?

Almost a quarter of Target purchases are made with the retailer’s famous “red card” — and with good reason. Every time shoppers purchase items with a REDcard, they shave 5 percent off their total amount due.

And now REDcard holders are going to save even more, thanks to a new promotion in which Target shoppers will receive an additional 10 percent off their purchases from Sept. 16-22.

That’s right. In addition to the traditional 5 percent you save when you shop with your Target card, you’ll also get 10 percent off … for a total of 15 percent off your purchase total. The 10-percent-off deal will appear in the Target app starting Sept. 16, and then the 5-percent discount will be applied on top of the 10-percent discount.

There are a few minor restrictions. Alcohol is not included in this deal, nor are Apple products, Dyson upright vacuums, Elf on the Shelf and Bose products, among other exempted brands and items. You also cannot use this deal to buy gift cards or items from Target Optical or Target Pharmacy.
