This decadent ‘Santa’s Sin’ cocktail will warm you up on a cold winter’s night
While nothing beats an ice cold margarita on a hot day, if you’re like me, winter and the holiday season are all about warm drinks. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the occasional festive martini or peppermint mimosa, but nothing beats a boozy hot chocolate while I overdose on Christmas movies.
Stoli vodka apparently agrees and have come up with what I’m pretty sure is going to be my go-to drink from now on — hot chocolate, Rumchata and Stoli Salted Karamel Vodka, a.k.a: Santa’s Sin cocktail.

It’s as easy to make as it sounds — you just pour all the ingredients together in a heat-resistant glass and, of course, top it with some whipped cream. Check out the full recipe:
‘Santa’s Sin’ Cocktail
1 1/2 parts Stoli Salted Karamel
1/2 parts Rumchata
4 parts Hot Chocolate
If you’re not into hot chocolate, but definitely into warm drinks, no worries — Stoli also has a Salted Karamel hot cider recipe. This one would work for the holidays and for fall or, who am I kidding, all year round!
Stoli Salted Karamel Hot Cider
1 ½ parts Stoli Salted Karamel
3 parts Apple Cider
¼ part Fresh Lemon Juice ½ part Simple Syrup (or Agave Nectar)
Garnish — Cinnamon Stick
If you’re looking for something with more of a peppermint taste, Smirnoff has a peppermint twist vodka that sounds seriously made for hot chocolate. Of course, there are also tons of warm cocktail recipes that don’t call for vodka, so if you’re not a fan, there’s still something for you.
Try going the hard cider route with this Winter Berry Toddy from Stella Artois. It combines the flavors of apples and cinnamon, but also includes raspberries, nutmeg and dark brown sugar. Yum!
Stella Artois Winter Berry Toddy
Ingredients:
- 1 12-ounce bottle of Stella Artois Cidre
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 ½ ounce fresh raspberries
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a medium sized saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes and lower temp to lowest setting, let simmer for up to 20 minutes. Strain mixture through doubled-over cheesecloth or strain 2 times through a fine mesh strainer. Ladle into your favorite decorative hot beverage mug and garnish with fresh raspberries.
Once you’ve had your share of warm drinks, Stoli does have some other holiday recipes that would be perfect for serving to guests, like their white chocolate and snowflake martinis. Check out those recipes below.
