Fidget spinner nail art signals the peak of the toy craze

It’s official: Fidget spinners have taken over the nation.

They are being called the “hula hoop for Generation Z” and “Saturday Night Live” even did a hilarious skit on the wildly-popular toy. Internet searches of the term have more than doubled in the last 30 days, and stores are having trouble keeping up with the demand.

And, now, the fidget craze has reached maximum velocity, folks. The toy is now showing up in the beauty industry. Well, in nail art, to be exact.

Yes, nail art.

Blogger and beauty expert Natasha Lee and her DIY “fidget spinner nail art” are mesmerizing the internet. A Facebook video featuring her spinner-laden nails has been watched over 9.8 million times (and counting) since she posted in on May 20, and when you see the clip, you will understand why.

Lee gives step-by-step instructions that—though easy to follow—would likely still prove challenging for amateur nail artists to execute.
