Lea Michele was a blushing bride-to-be at her star-studded engagement party
It’s been three months since Lea Michele said “yes” to boyfriend-turned-fiancé Zandy Reich, but the couple’s just getting around to celebrating with some of their closest (and most famous) friends and family members. And considering the fact that they waited months to officially celebrate their engagement, you better believe the party was absolutely amazing!
Michele posted photos to her Instagram, in which she posed with some of her best friends, and she couldn’t look more happy.
She wore “something blue” to the engagement bash, which was celebrated outdoors and decorated with wicker lanterns and gorgeous flowers:

According to the “Glee” star’s Instagram, it was her friends who threw the incredible party together:
“These amazing and beautiful best friends of mine threw me and Z the most incredible engagement party last night,” she captioned a photo with actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Twentieth Century Fox executive Stephanie Levinson.

Stars such as Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff and Emma Roberts were also in attendance.
Tisdale described the celebration of Michele and Reich “magical” on Instagram:

The actress first announced the engagement news on Instagram with a photo of her gorgeous ring and the simple caption, “Yes,” back in April:

She followed up a couple of days later with a photo of her and her fashion company president beau. The pair reportedly dated for over a year before he popped the question.
“Still on cloud 9,” she wrote on Instagram.

And while she’s been busy with her work — she kicked off a tour with Darren Criss, which wrapped up in July — she’s still made time for wedding planning and, obviously, engagement partying. As part of her duties as bride-to-be, she’s already named a Maid of Honor. The extremely important role will be filled by one of her closest friends, Jonathan Groff.
She announced the news on Instagram, just as simply as she did her engagement.
“Maid of Honor,” she wrote to accompany a photo of her and Groff.

As far as the actual details of the wedding ceremony, Michele’s going about it the same way any of us might, using Pinterest as her guide.
“This for me is just so exciting, and obviously there’s a lot to plan,” she said in an interview with 103.5 KISS FM back in May. “I always say that my work is like my baby, and so I have to focus on this right now since we’re going on tour, and then probably when I’m in a car driving from one theater to another for four hours I’ll have some good time to sit and create the most epic Pinterest board for weddings, and it will be perfect.”
So, now that the tour is over and the engagement party is out of the way — she’ll really be able to pin up a storm on Pinterest and make sure her big day is everything she’d always imagined it would be.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
