If you haven’t heard of the #DoTheShiggy dance challenge yet, you’ve been seriously missing out. The latest internet trend has even been popular amongst celebrities, and it’s produced the best videos as a result.

It all started when online personality and creator of “The Shiggy Show” Shiggy posted a video of himself dancing to Drake’s “In My Feelings.” From this, #DoTheShiggy was born, as was the #InMyFeelingsChallenge, and others started joining in on the fun.

You’ve got to admit, both the song and his dance moves are pretty catchy! Here’s the video that started it all:

Since posting this, people all over have begun to post their own versions of Shiggy’s dance moves.

Even Will Smith couldn’t resist getting in on the action. But, considering he “did the Shiggy” on top of a bridge in Budapest, he may have just taken the crown for this online challenge.

Smith posted his version of this dance to his Instagram.

“Last day in Budapest. I woke up #InMyFeelings,” the actor wrote on Instagram. “I’m a Keep It 💯… I was TERRIFIED up there. That’s why my dance moves is all STIFF!”

But, the internet seemed to disagree. Smith isn’t stiff — he’s killing it up there! See for yourself:

He also wrote, “Be smart, don’t attempt doing this under any circumstances,” as a warning to those who, you know, aren’t Will Smith. Certainly, not everyone can pull this off!

The singer himself, Drake, even reportedly commented on Smith’s video writing, “Wow the video is done.”

And if that wasn’t enough of a stamp of approval, Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, wrote, “You killed this,” and topped it off by saying, “I’m Done dad.”

Approval from your kids is the ultimate coup for a parent, so this father is clearly winning at life.

How #DoTheShiggy Came To Be

According to the dance creator, this wasn’t necessarily intended to be a viral trend. He just happened to like the song and felt like dancing to it.

“That’s the song that when I heard [it], it made me move, it made me wan to dance to the point where I [thought] I gotta, I have to make a video to this,” he said in an interview with TRL.

And just like that, the dance phenomenon was born.

Celebs Do The #InMyFeelingsChallenge

Smith isn’t the only A-lister to get in on the action, either. Celebrities such as Ciara and Shay Mitchell have put their own spin on the viral trend as well.

Ciara even commissioned husband Russell Wilson to do the dance with her on their honeymoon:

And “Pretty Little Liar” actress Shay Mitchell basically made the music video for this song:

Have these celebrities inspired you to get in on this trend? It be hard to top these performances, but hey — trying would still be fun!
