Pioneer Woman prepared foods are coming to Walmart — and every dish is $7 or less

Walmart and Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, are teaming up once again, this time to offer something everyone is sure to love. You’ll already find a full collection of bedding, Christmas decor, and beautiful floral Crockpots and Instant Pots — but you will soon find prepared meals, too!

Hitting Walmart shelves in November, you can now be able to enjoy Drummond’s signature dishes at home, all already prepared, so you won’t even have to do much work. You’ll find easy-to-prepare side dishes, entrees and breakfast bowls, all for under $7.

According to Walmart, Drummond was involved in every step of the recipe process, so you can be sure they taste just how she wants them to.

“My number one goal with my new line of entrees and sides is to give folks a taste of my family’s favorite dishes, all ready to heat and serve,” Drummond said in a press release. “For those times you’re rushed or just don’t have time to prep and cook food from scratch…this is the next best thing!”

Main dishes include comfort foods like smothered or fried chicken, bacon meatloaf and county fried steak, ranging in price from $5.98-$6.98. Sides include creamy mashed potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, all for $3.98 each. You’ll also find three different breakfast bowls: country, meaty and Tex Mex for $2.98-$3.98. Each dish serves two, so they sound perfect for enjoying a quiet night in.

You’ll find the meals in the refrigerated section and they can easily and quickly be prepared — no floral Crockpot needed! (Although you’ll still probably want to get that too).

Taking a closer look at some of these dishes, although they are simply able to be reheated, they sound pretty impressive. The smothered chicken ($5.98) includes a rich and creamy sherry sauce while the bacon meatloaf ($5.98) comes with a sweet-and-spicy ketchup. As for sides, the loaded mashed potatoes ($3.98) are packed with cream, chives, bacon, cheese, garlic and butter and the macaroni and cheese ($3.98) is made with four cheeses!

For breakfast, you can start your day with a country bowl full of beef, cheese, potatoes, bell peppers and gravy or for a bit of a kick, the Tex Mex bowl has salsa, cheese, chorizo and tortilla chips. All you have to do is crack an egg in the bowl, warm it up and you have a quick and easy breakfast!
